SAVVIC News

At Savvic I strive to build relationships and trust with my clients by adding value and via the services I render to the best of my ability.
As we all know, the current Covid19 pandemic has determined a new normal and unfortunately, has also caused some delays in certain services.  The delays are especially affecting the following services which I offer:
·         Request for copies from the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC)
·         Finalising deregistration of companies and close corporations at Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC)
·         All matters relating to a Trust at the Master of the High Court, i.e. trust registration and administration.  The turnaround time used to be 21 working days at our local office.
·         Registrations and queries relating to Non-Profit Organisations with the Department of Social Development.  According to the website, it can take up to 108 working days for registration of an NPO.
·         Registration of a Public Benefit Organisation by the Tax Exemption Unit (TEU) at the South African Revenue Service (SARS).  The current turnaround time is 56 working days.
The staff of some of these institutions still work on a rotational basis and response to my queries and follow-up correspondence is rather limited.
I therefore ask that you bear with me and my continuous attempts to deliver the best possible service.
Yours in keeping you on the right side of the law.
